SUMMER HORSE CAMP 2008
Nova Quarter Horses offers many 4 day horse camps over the summer. At our 10 acre riding center, we will teach your child how to be a knowledgeable horse person. A Monday through Thursday program teaches children to ride, saddle, groom, clean tack and stalls, feed and most importantly, to respect horses.
- Horse show each Thursday at 2:00pm with awards presented
- This years camps will include educational demonstrations on Veterinary Practices, Shoeing, Jumping, Dressage, and Reining.
- Water fun day and BBQ on Wednesday
- Learn to: Groom, Clip, Bridle, Saddle
- Learn different horse breads, bits, saddles, bathe, groom, clip and different styles of riding.
- Daily educational clinics and riding lessons.
- Arts and crafts throughout the day
Campers must be at least 6 years of age
Beginner Camps Starts at 9:00am - 3:00 pm (Mon-Thurs)
Bring a Sack Lunch Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

Aug 4th-7th
Intermediate Camp Starts at 9:00am - 3:00 pm (Mon-Thurs)
July 14th - July 17th - Intermediate current riders only
The price for the summer horse camp is $325.00
Meet your Summer Camp Instructors
Nicole Ernest is the summer camp coordinator at Nova and has been riding with Lorri for 12 years. In addition to teaching summer camp, she works for Lorri as a member of her office staff and teaches riding lessons. She graduated from college this spring with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from the University of Central Missouri and is pursuing a job as a High School English Teacher.
Kelly Dunne is new to our summer camp staff this year. Kelly has been riding with Lorri since she was 5 years old and is currently working for Lorri as a member of her office Staff and a Summer Camp Instructor. She was a teacher of school aged children in a day care program for 4 years.
Amy Casali is as boarder and employee here at Nova. She has her own horse named Sierra and is pursuing a Pre-Vet degree at Colorado State University.
In addition to our instructors, our summer camp employees are: Samantha Ebeling, Becky Fiedler and Alex Sifuentez.
